What is MicroPen Evo Microneedling?

Microneedling has become a popular cosmetic procedure for those seeking a more youthful, radiant appearance. It involves creating tiny injuries on the skin's surface, which promotes collagen production and jump-starts the skin's repair process. The MicroPen® EVO, an advanced class II medical-grade automated microneedling device approved by the FDA and Health Canada, is a more intensive collagen induction therapy than other devices available in the market. This makes it an ideal treatment for individuals with more noticeable facial acne scars, as well as for improving skin texture, tone, and color. By adjusting the depth and speed of the treatment, we can customize the treatment to achieve precise results tailored to the patient's needs. Additionally, the MicroPen EVO is safe and comfortable for patients with most skin types, and there is little to no downtime following the procedure.

HOW DOES MICROPEN EVO IMPROVE SKIN?

The MicroPen® EVO procedure is a simple yet highly effective treatment. The process entails the use of a device to create micro-injuries in the treatment area, thereby stimulating collagen production, aiding in the removal of dead skin cells, and revealing healthy skin as the body heals itself. The procedure is quick and comfortable, with a saline solution applied to the skin before the MicroPen® EVO device is applied, gliding gently across the entire treatment area. Most individuals liken the sensation to having sandpaper swept over their skin. The complete microneedling session lasts between 15 to 30 minutes. Though visible improvements to the skin are noticeable after the first treatment, dermatologists recommend a series of sessions to achieve optimal results. During your consultation visit, your dermatologist will provide a tentative treatment plan that can be adjusted based on your skin's response to the procedure.

WHO IS AN IDEAL CANDIDATE?

The MicroPen® EVO is an advanced microneedling technology that can help individuals with a variety of skin types and concerns. Compared to laser therapies, which can be complicated, uncomfortable, and cause pigmentation changes, microneedling is a less invasive and more versatile solution that can be performed in a single appointment. With theMicroPen® EVO, dermatologists and licensed medical professionals can address a wide range of skin irregularities on various parts of the body, such as the face, neck, decolletage, hands, feet, arms, and legs. This innovative device improves the skin's health and appearance, leaving it looking and feeling more youthful and vibrant.
