CONTRAINDICATIONS

Even though microneedling is safe for all skin types & can have dramatic effects on many different skin concerns, there are some conditions & situations where this procedure should NOT be performed.

Mircroneedling is not recommended for those who:

Have used Accutane within the last 6 months
Have open wounds, cuts or abrasions on the area being treated
Have had radiation treatment to the skin within the last year
Have any kind of current skin infection of Herpes Simplex virus in the area being treated
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have any history of keloid scars in the area being treated
Poor wound healing
Eczema, psoriasis, active acne, rosacea or other chronic skin conditions in the area being treated
Actinic keratosis
Diabetes
Presence of raised moles, warts or lesions
Botox within 2 weeks, dermal fillers within 4 weeks
